WAV is a worldwide online radio station, having its physical base at the museum of photography in Antwerp.

The radio was founded by 5 music aficionados coming from various and complementary disciplines and backgrounds with a common passion for music.

Soul, jazz, electronics, indie, rap, folk, wave, uplifting or downtempo, talkie or non-stop, soundfile or seven inch, vocal or instrumental: We Are Various.

The radio station is a platform for local artists and people with different cultural backgrounds. Producers, dj’s, musicians of course, but also other artists, from writers to fashion designers. And not to forget, all those people in the local community that have an interesting musical story to tell.

Next to local, WAV invites also the global. Since the radio’s foundation in April 2018, artists like Betonkust (Dekmantel, NL), Lovefingers (ESP Institute, LA), Beppe Loda (Italo disco legend, IT), Mozaika (Public Possession, PL), Tomaga (UK), Andy Votel (UK), The Oscillation (UK) etc. paid us a visit and inspired us with their musical selection.

WAV is not just radio. We host label specials and theme shows, organize events, set up collabs  & have a web shop.
