The graphic design fire-brand synonymous with Antwerp fashion, hand-crafting and then pushing visual frontiers in art, theatre and dance.

For nearly three decades, Paul Boudens, titan of graphic design and art direction, has been as inextricably linked to Antwerp fashion as the city itself. From his early days as a freelance print designer for Walter Van Beirendonck in 1989, he has gone on to create graphic universes for Yohji Yamamoto, Dries Van Noten, Jurgi Persoons, Haider Ackermann, Olivier Theyskens, Rosas, MoMu – Fashion Museum Antwerp, The Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp Fashion Department and many more.

A proud member of the Alliance Graphique Internationale (AGI), Paul Boudens has put his irrevocable signature on fashion, art, theatre and dance with shake-the-table design, gaining worldwide recognition for his layered and hand-crafted visual style.

Ever the maniacally inspired craftsman, Boudens’ accolades also include co-founder and first art director status of A Magazine (curated by). An overview of his legacy has been published in the monograph ‘Paul Boudens Works Volume I’. A second instalment is scheduled for 2020. The fire rages on, #notdeadyet remains the mantra.
