Builders Club

Jonas Hegi and Julien Simshauser are the founders of London-based creative studio Builders Club. They specialise in innovative visual storytelling. After meeting in London by accident, they quickly realised they are both looking for fresh and exciting ways of telling stories and engaging with the audience. They combine their backgrounds of film, digital art and graphic design with their interest in creative concepts and strong narratives. This results in films that are constantly challenging the way an audience is perceiving what they believe is real and what is just a dream.

Their first short film picked up a Young Directors Award in Cannes and they were shortlisted for the ADC NYC Young Guns award. They have created cinematic experiences and immersive visual worlds for brands such as Nike, Yves Saint Laurent, Hermès and Reebok while never losing touch with their roots in art and design.

They constantly hunt for what could be the next image – showcasing their personal and research projects on platforms like Nowness or Novembre Magazine.
